If you would like to learn more about composting, please come and join us at CWT Gosling Sike where we will walk and talk you through which compost bin might work best for you at our compost demonstration site and get hints and tips for composting in the autumn and winter.
Woodland Wellbeing

Watchtree Nature Reserve is excited to introduce Woodland Wellbeing, a 7-week outdoor social prescribing programme at Watchtree, designed to support individuals experiencing mild low mood, anxiety, loneliness, or life changes.
Funded by The Nineveh Trust, these sessions provide a safe, inclusive space where participants can reconnect with nature, learn new skills, and improve their resilience through activities such as mindfulness, bushcraft, yoga, campfire cooking, and more.
Programme Details:
Start Date: Tuesday, 22nd April 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (weekly for 7 weeks)
Location: Watchtree Nature Reserve (fully accessible site)
Eligibility: Adults 18+ experiencing mild low mood, anxiety, long-term health conditions, or life changes (e.g., bereavement, retirement, job loss).
