Find Other Networks
The Cumbria People and Nature network is one of several networks and directories operating across the county. It sits as the hub for people and nature activity across the county. However, it also links with other intersecting networks to ensure we have a joined up approach, we are adding value to each other and we avoid duplicating information.
Some of the other Cumbrian networks or directories you may be interested in connecting with include:
Cumbria Sustainability Network
Part of Zero Carbon Cumbria, this informal network brings together community groups working to make their area more sustainable – from running repair cafes and growing food to installing community energy schemes. The groups get together online to share experiences, support each other and sometimes to work together and coordinate activities around a particular topic.
The network is managed by Cumbria Action for Sustainability, Cumbria’s climate change charity who are there to help Cumbrians to reduce their carbon footprint and prevent climate change by promoting and facilitating low carbon living. They work to inspire and support individuals, communities, and organisations across Cumbria and beyond to decarbonise lives and businesses by 2037, or sooner.
The Joy Directory
